Help Keep Children Warm this Winter!
Join us in providing new coats and winter accessories to young people in Chicago's Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood. This is the fourth year South Shore Drill Team has sponsored this event and we welcome Gary Comer Youth Center and the Comer Education Campus as our partners in keeping children warm. Social workers from two local elementary schools identify students most in need, and when they come with their parents, our youth help younger children select the right size and a color they like. Our goal is to give away 500 new coats, plus hats, scarves, and gloves.
